Covenant Birth Center, LLC is much like a family. By the time you deliver, you are an important part of this family. We would not exist without you!

Your Birth Team

At Covenant Birth Center, you will see one of our two Licensed Midwives throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum.

Your birth team will consist of a Licensed Midwife, either another Licensed Midwife or an RN, and an Licensed Midwifery Apprentice.

Alexandra Wagner LM, CPM and Lisa Byrd LM, CPM are your Licensed Midwives

Other Members of Your Team Include...

Registered Nurses and other Midwives who assist at births

Midwifery Apprentices who sometimes serve as doulas

Medical and Lactation Consultants as needed

Who We Are

Lisa Byrd, Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife is also the Director of Covenant Birth Center, LLC.

One of my greatest joys is to see women utilize the tools of wellness to have healthy pregnancies and birth their babies according to their God-given ability. This makes not only strong women, but strong mothers and families, as well. Unhindered birth is amazing!

Bridget is a certified Hypnobirthing Instructor, Labor and Postpartum Doula and Licensed Midwifery Apprentice.

Covenant Birth Center, LLC is a Licensed SC Birth Center and is staffed by SC midwives who are experts in natural birth care. We specialize in waterbirth!
